Flange-type diaphragm seal
Flange-connected diaphragm seals are a common diaphragm seal device used to protect pressure sensors or transmitters from erosion and damage by process media. It uses a flange connection to fix the diaphragm device on the processing pipeline and ensures the stable and reliable operation of the pressure measurement system by isolating corrosive, high-temperature, or high-pressure process media.
Flange-connected diaphragm seals usually consist of two flanges, a diaphragm, and connecting bolts. The diaphragm is located between the two flanges and isolates the process medium from the sensor, preventing it from direct contact with the sensor surface. Flanges and connecting bolts are used to install the diaphragm seal on the process pipeline to ensure sealing performance and a stable connection.
Diaphragm seals are suitable for various industrial fields, such as chemicals, petroleum, pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, etc., especially when the pressure of corrosive media, high temperature, or high-pressure media needs to be measured.
